A Quick and Easy KosherEye Signature Recipe Cooked rice, black beans, salsa and cheddar cheese combine to make this Burrito-Less Beans, Rice and Cheese recipe a family favorite. Ingredients: 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed (such as Eden Foods or Goya) Directions: In a saucepan combine beans, salsa and cumin and warm mixture. Sauté crumbles in olive oil and add to saucepan –mix with spoon until well combined; Top mixture with cheese; allow cheese to melt Place warm rice in plates or bowls – spoon mixture over rice – top with additional shredded cheese. Enjoy! Optional: Serve a garnish of sour cream on the side. To take this up a notch, add jalapeno pepper. Notes: Yield: Serves 4 Recipes: Dairy, Main Dish, Kosher |
